Important fax transmissions with confidential contents or contents with financial effect (e.g. tenders) or time-critical fax transmissions should be announced to the recipient before being sent (e.g. via telephone). Then, the recipient can walk to the corresponding fax machine and receive the incoming fax directly at the fax machine so that no other person may remove the fax.

The users should be instructed by the supervisors to announce confidential or important fax transmissions.
